Peacock Burlesque

This costume was my personal project in my third year, I wanted to make something with a lot of embellishments and performer specific fastenings and the burlesque costume was perfect for this.

To learn more about making a burlesque costume I signed up to Christina Manuge of Manuge et Toi Design on Patreon, she is a highly skilled maker and her tutorials are easy to follow.

 

The fantail was fun to design and make, there were so many variations of design on how it would pop up but it was the simplest that actually worked!
